If you can think of something fun to do, we’re probably doing it! We always look to our students for ideas. Here is a list of activities our students participate in on a regular basis:

Game Nights
Learn new games and teach the games you love.

Catch a movie and snack night.
Watch your favorite movie. Eat lots of sacks. It’s as simple as that!

Do you play sports?
You will have many opportunities to play soccer, basketball, volleyball, flag football, and more!

Erie is one of only two port cities in Pennsylvania. Lake Erie and nearby Presque Isle State Park offer some of the world’s best sunsets and the boating is great. Each year students will have the opportunity to take a boat tour.

Lake Erie and its tributaries offer some of the best fishing in the country. Learn how to fly fish or just hang out with friends by the water.

Soak in the sun for a day at the beach.
Presque Isle offers miles of sandy beach. Our Beach Day offers students the chance to participate in fun beach activities and enjoy a picnic dinner.

Attend a local sporting event.
Erie is home to several excellent professional basketball, hockey, baseball and football sports teams.

Shop ’til you drop!
Twice a week you will be able to shop for whatever you need and the residential campus is only within 10 miles of a large shopping mall!

Volunteer for a service project.
Get together with your fellow EFCA students for a good cause.

Visit a museum or historical site.
Throughout the year we visit local, regional and national museums and historical locations.

Visit the zoo.
The Erie Zoo has more than 400 animals, while the botanical gardens and greenhouse have over 600 species of plant from around the world.

Be a cook or share your love of food!
Who doesn’t love food! Students will enjoy International and Themed Dinner Nights. Try your hand at cooking or share your favorite foods from your country.

Attend a church service.
Every Sunday we attend a modern, casual worship service at our nearby Sparrow Pond Fellowship or Erie First Assembly of God.

Hang out at the youth center.
The Summit Youth Center at Erie First Assembly features indoor basketball courts, video game areas, a full-service cafe and a state-of-the-art auditorium for concerts and youth worship services.

Spend time with friends.
Hang out at the dorm in our common areas.
