The Erie First Early Education Center is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dependable part-time preschool teacher to join our Christ-centered early childhood education team. The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where young children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Responsibilities include planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons and activities, supervising children throughout the day, and encouraging learning through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences while fostering positive relationships and modeling Christian values. The teacher will also perform daily light cleaning and classroom organization to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will comply with all state licensing regulations, maintain required teacher-to-child ratios, and work collaboratively with fellow staff members to provide high-quality early childhood education in a loving, Christ-centered atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood (or Related Field)

• Ability to Acquire Appropriate Clearances

• Ability to lift small children

• Love of Students

Spiritual Expectations:

• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ

• Regular attendance at a local Christian church

• Agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct
